Introduced in November 2001, SpeedRes Web is a real-time, Internet booking engine connecting a tour operator’s web site directly with their SpeedRes application. Available for immediate installation on any SpeedRes version 8.s or higher, SpeedRes Web is written in HTML and JavaScript and runs on a PC gateway using a Microsoft Windows server (NT 4.0 or higher).

By adding availability and book button pages to their existing web site SpeedRes customers can give direct consumers, travel agents and their staff the ability to seamlessly book vacation products via their browser. It can be used to book simple packages or multiple hotel night stays, or, with the additional optional Shopping Cart feature, the capability to book more complex FITs containing multiple products within one departure.
